1. The short version

scoutandswan.com sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there is no cookie banner. We count visits with Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics service that works without cookies and does not collect personal data. It tells us which pages are read and how people found them, never who you are.

Some content on the site comes from other services, and those services can see your IP address when your browser fetches it. They are listed in §2.

This policy covers scoutandswan.com only. Our products (RidgeLine, CoDraw, Fleet Suite and Product 125) have their own policies on their own domains.

Our website embeds videos hosted by YouTube (Google). YouTube is an independent controller, so we cannot manage your YouTube privacy for you. Manage it directly with Google on youtube.com and under Google's Privacy Policy.

If you would rather YouTube did not receive your IP address, you can block i.ytimg.com and youtube-nocookie.com in your browser. The site still works without them.

4. If this changes

If we ever add anything that stores information on your device and is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent with a cookie banner. Nothing that is not strictly necessary will run until you have chosen, and you can change your choice at any time.
